 Tana Family Scholarship Organizers Meeting in Bahir Dar   

The TFS committee in Bahir Dar officially started the scholarship process. The meeting was held with former students, teachers and director of the school in Tana Haik Bahir Dar. It was very fruitful discussion.

We would like to share the meeting minute prepared by the organizers Lake Endalew and Mastewal Alemu. They also added their recommendation about the resource allocation and TFS winner selection . All  TFS committee members have suggested a brief meeting on Saturday August 26,2017 to sync-up the recommendations with existing TFS guideline.

የጣና ሐይቅ ቤተሰብ ስኮላርሽፕ መመሪያ ላይ ተመርኩዞ የቀድሞ የጣና ሐይቅ ተማሪዎች ማህበር ባሰባሰበው መጠኑ 12ሺ ዶላር ብቃት ያላቸውን ተማሪዎች መርጦ ድጋፍ ለማድረግ ሲሆን ለጀመሪያው ዙር 24 ተማሪዎችን ባቋቋመው ኮሚቴ አማካኝነት መምረጥ ነው፡፡

እነዚህን ተማሪዎች ለመምረጥ በማህበሩ የተዘጋጀውን ስኮላርሽፕ መመሪያ መሠረት በማድረግ ነው፡፡

በወይይቱ ተገኙ አባላት ፡-

  1. ነብዩ እጅጉ …. ር/መምህር
  2. ላቀ እንዳለው…. የቀድሞ ተማሪ
  3. ማስተዋል አለሙ …. የቀድሞ ተማሪ
  4. ሰገነት ፈንቴ …. መምህር
  5. ልዑልሰገድ ድረስ …. መምህር
  6. ስሜነህ አምሳሉ …. መምህር
  7. ፈለቀ አብርሃ…. መምህር

  አጀንዳ

በተዘጋጀው ለስኮላርሺፕ መመሪያ ላይ መወያየት

በእያንዳንዱ መስፈርት ላይ ቤቱ በስፋት ከተወያዬ በኋላ የሚከተሉትን መመልመያ መስፈርቶች ቢካተቱ የሚል አስተያየት አቅርቧል፡፡ ባወጣው መስፈርት መሠረትም 12 ወንዶች 12 ሴቶች በድምሩ 24 ተማሪዎች ይመረጣሉ፡፡የሚከተሉት ተማሪዎች ከ9-12 ያሉትን ያካትታል፡፡

                      የመመልመያ መስፈርት

  • ለወንድ ተማሪዎች የቀን ተማሪዎች የሆኑና የቀድሞ ዓመት ዉጤታቸው 88% እና በላይ መሆን አለበት፡፡ – መመሪያው ላይ 85% ነው፡፡ ነገር ግን የሚሰጠው እድል በየግሬድ ሌቨሉ 6 ተማሪዎች ብቻ በመሆኑና ከዚህም ውስጥ ወንዶች 3 ስለሚሆኑ ከ90% በላይ ያሉ ብዙ ወንድ ተማሪዎች ስላላሉ ተወዳዳሪዎችን ለመቀነስ ሲባል በሚል ነው፡፡
  • ለሴት ተማሪዎች 85% እና ከዛ በላይ (የቀድሞ ዓመት ውጤታቸው) የት/ቤቱ የቀን ተማሪ የሆኑ
  • የ9ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች የሚመለከቱት በ1ኛው ወሰነ ትምህርት በሚገኙት ውጤት ላይ ተመስርቶ ሲሆን ከላይ የተጠቀሱት መነሻና መድረሻ ነጥቦች ከዚህም ላይ ያገለግላሉ፡፡ -9ኛ ክፍልን በተመለከተ ተማሪዎች ከተለያየ ቦታ የ8ኛ ክፍል ውጤት ይዘው ስለሚመጡ በውጤታቸው ለማወዳደር አስቸጋሪ ስለሆነ እስኮላሩ ሁለተኛው ወሰነ ትምህርት ላይ ቢጀምር የሚል ነው፡፡
  • ስኮላርሽፑ የሚያገለግለው ለአንድ ዓመት ብቻ ሲሆን ከዚህም ተጠቃሚ የነበሩ ተማሪዎች በሚቀጥለው ዓመት እንደአዲስ ተወዳድረው ማሸነፍ ካልቻለ ተጠቃሚ አይሆኑም፡፡
  • ስኮላርሽፑ በየወሩ ይሰጣል፡፡ ሁሉም አሸናፊ ተማሪዎች ከአንድ ባንክ ቡክ እንዲከፍቱ በማድረግ በየወሩ ለባንኩ ድብዳቤ በመጸፍ ለማህበሩ አካውንት ተቀናሽ እየሆነ ለተማሪዎች ወደ አካውንታቸው ይገባል ይህም ሁሌም እንዲበረታቱ ያደርጋቸዋል
  • ስኮላርሽፑ በገንዘብና በማተሪያል መልክ ይሆናል፡፡ ስኮላርሽፑ የሚሰጠው ከ10ኛ-12ኛ ተማሪዎች ለ10 ወራት (ከመስከረም አስከ ሰኔ) ይሆናል፡፡ ለ9ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች ለ5ወር ይሆናል
  • ክፍያው ከፍና ዝቅ ሊል ይችላል፡፡ መዋጮው በጨመረና በቀነሰ ቁጥር ማለት ነው፡፡
  • ለእያንዳንዱ ተማሪ የሚሰጠው እርዳት ከ500 ብር ያላነሰ እንዲሆን
  • ከ10 – 12 የሚገኙ ተማሪዎች ከሐምሌ 5 – 10 ማመልከት ይጠበቅባቸዋል፡፡
  • የ9ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች ከየካቲት 5 – 15  ማመልከት ይጠበቅበታል፡፡
  • ማመልቻው ለት/ቤቱ ርዕሰ መምህር ጽ/ቤት ይቀርባል፡፡
  • የውድድሩ ውጤት ይፋ የሚሆነው ማመልከቻው ከገባ በኋላ ባሉት አምስት ተከታታይ ቀናት ሆናል፡፡
  • የመልማይ ኮሚቴ አባላት ሶስት በአገር ውስጥ ያሉ የቀድሞ ተማሪዎች እና ሶስት መምህራን ያቅፋል የት/ቤቱን ርዕሰ መምህር ጨምሮ በውጭ የሚገኙ ተማሪዎች ኮሚቴ ሲስማማበትና ሲጸድቅ ወደ ስራ ይገባል

የሚከተሉት ተማሪዎች ጾታ ብዛትና በክፍል ደረጃ

9ኛ ክፍል ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ያስመዘገቡ 2 ወንድ 2 ሴት

10ኛ ክፍል ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ያስመዘገቡ 2 ወንድ 2 ሴት

11ኛ ክፍል ስፔሻል ነጥብ ያስመዘገቡ 3 ወንድና ሴት ከናቹራል ሳይንስ ተማሪዎች

11ኛ ክፍል ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ያስመዘገቡ 1 ወንድ/ሴት ከሶሻል ሳይንስ ይሆናል

12ኛ ክፍል ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ስመዘገቡ 3 ወንድና ሴት ከናቹራል ሳይንስ ተማሪዎች

12ኛ ክፍል ከፍተኛ ነጥብ ያስመዘጉ 1 ወንድ/ሴት ከሶሻል ሳይንስ ይሆናል  

ቀሪዎቹ 8ተማሪዎችን በተመለከተ

  • በመመሪው 12 ተማሪዎች በእጣ ይመረጣሉ የሚል ሲሆን ወደ 8 ቢሆን የሚል የውሳኔ ሀሳብ ቀርቧል፡፡ በተጨማሪም በእጣ መለየት የሚለውን ሀሳብ አብዛኞቹ መምህራን አልደገፉትም ስለሆነም የሚከተሉት ሌሎች አማራጮች ቢኖሩ ተብለዋለል
  • በፍተና ቢለዩ የሚል ሲሆን ይህም ቢሆን ፈተናውን ማውጣት ማራባት መፈተን የመሳሰሉት ስራዎች ሊታሰብባቸው የሚከቡ ጉዳዮች ናቸው
  • ስኮላርሽፑን መስፈርቱን አሟልተው ከሞሉ ተማሪዎች ውስጥ በጣም ችግረኛ የሆኑትን በሪኮሜንዴሽን፤በኢንተርቪው እና በመሳሰሉን ከየግሬድ ሌቪሉ ሁለት ተማሪዎችን ከ9-12 ባጠቃላይ 8 ተማሪዎችን ብንመርጥ የሚል ነው
  • እኩል ነጥብ ሁለት ተማሪዎች ቢያገኙ አንዱ የአካል ጉዳቶች ቢሆን ቅድሚያ ይሰጠዋል፡፡
  • በሌላ ስኮላርሽፕ ዕድል ያገነ ተማሪ በዚህ ስኮላርሽፕ መወዳደር አይችልም፡፡ ሲረዳበት የነበረውን ድርጅት ካልተወ በቀር  
  • በት/ቤት ደረጃ የሚቋቋመው የመልማይ ኮሚቴ ሶስት አባላትን ያቀፈ ሲሆን የሚመረጠውም በስታፍ ነው በማለት የውሳኔ ሀሳብ ቀርቧል፡፡

ከላይ የቀረቡት በዕለቱ ውይይት የቀረቡ ሲሆን ዋናውን በቨይበር የላኩ ሲሆን በዚህ ሰነድ ላይ በተወሰነ ማብራሪያ ጨምሬበታለሁ፡፡

ትኩረት የሚያስፈልጋቸው ነገሮች የግል አስተያየት ላቀ

  • መመሪያው በደንብ መታየት፤ መዳበር እና በርካታ ዝርዝር ጉዳዮችን ማካተት ይኖርበታል
  • ማህበሩ በሀገር ውስጥ እውቅና ማግኘት እና ህጋዊ ማድረግ ተገቢ ነው
  • የማህበሩ ዶክመንቶች በቀጣይ እንዴት መቀመጥ እደሚኖርባቸው በዝርዝር መታየት ይኖርበታል

የባጀት ፍላጎት በተመለከተ የተሰራ ሰንጠረጅ

ተጨማሪ አስተያየት የግል

  • አንዳን እጅግ የተቸገሩ ተማሪዎች ስላሉ ለነሱ ቢያንስ ለ10 ተማሪዎች የቤት ኪራይ በወር 300 ብር ድምር 3000.00 ብር
  • ለሴት ተማሪዎች በየወሩ ቢያንስ ለ100 ተማሪዎች ለንጽህና መጠበቂያ እቃዎች መርዳት ቢቻል ድምር በግምት 20,000.00 ብር ይህ ገንዘብ ለ9ኛ ክፍል ለ10 ወራት ሊሰጥ የነበርው ስኮላር ወደ 5ወር ዚቅ ስላለ ከዚያ የሚገኘውን ወደ ዚህ እርዳታ ቢዞር

         ቃለ ጉባዔ ተዘጋጀ በላቀ እንዳለ

IN MEMORY OF SPECIAL ONES
(ANTENEH KEBEDE 1976 – 2001 E.C.)

It was in April 2008, I was told that my first childhood friend passed away from a car accident. I first met Anteneh Kebede when I was in grade 4 at Sertse Dingle Primary School. At the end of the school-year (Yewelajoch beal), we were lined up to get certificates and awards as we stood 1st in our respective classes. We started our first conversation right away.When we passed on to grade 5 the following year, we were on opposite shifts ‘Ha fereka and Le fereka’.

I still don’t know how I thought about friendship at that age, I requested my class lead teacher ‘sim teri’ to put me on the same shift and same class with Anteneh. I didn’t even consult my family when I did that. Ever since grade 5, we were almost always together. Our grade 6 and 8 final ‘ministry’ results were exactly the same (they used to put scores as ‘percentile’ and ‘average’).

Anteneh was such a hardworking person to learn from and we used to support and compete each other. He was also a flawless student that teachers used to like him, let alone students. Teachers like Achamyeleh (Maths teacher who also passed away years ago), Abebe physics, Meareg Chemistry, Getu Maths, Misganaw Fenklew English and others had special friendship with Anteneh Kebede for he was disciplined student.

With a third friend, Yoseph Negasi, we studied days and nights together when we were in grades 11 and 12 as preparation for highschool national exam. Anteneh did pass the ESLCE with 6 A’s and 1 B. He graduated from Bahirdar University in Chemical Engineering in year 2006. He then wanted to study abroad and was in the process of paper works for a travel to Finland. And the tragic accident happened on his way to Addis from Bahirdar.

Anteneh was easy to get along with that he had many friends at school. I met most friends I know today through Anteneh. Some of my friends through Anteneh are Henok H/Mariam (Anteneh’s family), Solomon Nurga, Tewodros Tesera, Misganaw Birhan and others.For me, it was such a disaster to lose a special childhood friend. I had hard time not to have him every day in my dreams for more than 3 years.

Today, those brothers I mentioned above are among the alumni who coordinated the Tana Family Scholarship. I am informed of the possibility to include special scholarship recipients in memory of our loved ones in Tana Haik. The fund will be collected by forming smaller groups and be provided to the alumni network. And I wanted to use the opportunity to remember Anteneh.

Anyone who knows Anteneh Kebede or who shares a similar story, please join me here to raise money for the smaller group and sponsor a student in the  name of Anteneh. The money still goes to gofundme Tana, but you will see Anteneh Kebede as contributor’s name on the page.Besides what I have sent for the general Tana scholarship pgm (gofundme), I just made a separate contribution in memory of my late beloved friend and brother Anteneh Kebede.
